Yes. The patient app is designed to be as simple and intuitive as a text message conversation. The entire process is a guided chat that takes about 10-15 minutes, and patients consistently report feeling better prepared and more thoroughly heard.
How do you ensure patient data is kept secure and private?
Patient privacy is foundational to Sano. Our platform is built in a HIPAA-compliant environment with robust data encryption. We establish Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all partner clinics, and explicit patient consent is required before any information is collected.
What happens after the free research pilot ends?
Our long-term business model is a straightforward subscription for clinics. Pilot partners provide invaluable feedback for our research and will have the opportunity to continue using Sano at a preferential, early-adopter rate should they choose to.
